Join us as we celebrate the regional successes of the Central Texas Math Alignment Taskforce (CTXMAT), explore new math pathway data and trends, and identify objectives for moving toward sustainability.

Who should attend?

All Central Texas districts, colleges, and universities actively participating in CTXMAT should attend along with those who would like to develop and champion our mathematics alignment goals throughout Central Texas.

A team from each district and institution of higher education should include the following:

  • An institution president, district superintendent, and/or cabinet-level leader.
  • An administrator with authority to support mathematics alignment and transition work.
  • A mathematics department chair and/or lead math faculty member, district math lead(s).
  • An advising director, lead counseling director, and/or lead staff charged with streamlining students’ transition from pre-K to 12 and postsecondary education.

What is CTXMAT?

CTXMAT is a collaborative effort between E3 Alliance and the Charles A. Dana Center at The University of Austin at Texas.

Members encompass a coalition of 15 school districts and 6 higher education partners working together to better align mathematics course-taking so more students succeed in math into and through college.
