Every year, E3 Alliance hosts the annual Blueprint for Educational Change Summit, a day of sharing data, stories, and insights into where we are as a region and where we need to go.
The Blueprint for Educational Change is our region’s strategic plan to build the strongest, most equitable education-to-workforce pipeline in the country to drive economic prosperity and set students on a pathway to success in college, career, and life.

About Richard Tagle, President & Executive Director, E3 Alliance
Richard joined E3 Alliance from Denver Public Schools Foundation, where he served as president and CEO and strengthened alignment between school district priorities and Foundation investments. Previously, he served as the CEO of the Andy Roddick Foundation in Austin, Texas, for nearly a decade.

Carl Settles Jr., CEO, E4 Youth
Carl Settles, Jr. is the visionary founder and chief executive officer of E4 Youth, a nonprofit and technology start-up in Austin, TX. With a mission to Engage, Empower, Educate, and Employ young talent of color, E4 ensures they are SEEN, HEARD, and HIRED.
He also leads the Cultural IQ Initiative, a national coalition of schools, nonprofits, and businesses. By taking a systems approach to measure and develop cultural competency, the initiative improves education, economic, and health outcomes for people of color. In addition, Settles is the creator of What Once Was, a mixed reality (XR) platform that explores the impacts of gentrification through storytelling to build community and close the digital divide. Settles is chair of Rally Austin (formerly Austin Economic Development Corporation) as well, which leverages real estate and development projects to support the arts and equity.
