Our Culture

E3 Alliance hangs out together during our internal fun day

E3 Alliance is an organization filled with passionate, life-long learners. We are former educators and principals, researchers and data geeks, entrepreneurs and CEOs.

We’re all aligned on one unifying mission: to transform education systems through data and collaboration so all students succeed.

We focus on initiatives, policies, and practices that impact positive changes at the systems-level. This means we’re impacting thousands of students today and in the future.

If you’ve read our Core Values and Best Ats, you know that we’re data-driven, relentless, and collaborative. This shows up in our culture, too.

We’re data-driven. Even internally.

We measure our organization happiness, satisfaction, and well-being. Yep, we collect data on that too. And we do something with that data. Both our Leadership Team and our Culture Collab review that internal data.

About our Culture Collab

Not only do we measure our well-being, we have a whole group (even beyond our Leadership Team!) dedicated to ensuring our team is happy and healthy. It’s called the Culture Collab and it’s a diverse group of individuals committed to ensuring E3 Alliance is a fun, satisfying place to work.

On top of that, we organize Fun Days and book clubs together.

Benefits

Austin Community College

E3 Alliance is privileged to be hosted by one of its founders: Austin Community College (ACC).  Although we are an independent 501-(c)(3) organization and pay our own salaries and direct expenses, ACC processes our payroll and staff receive benefits through the college as a pass-through organization. This allows our employees to receive many benefits that would not be possible as an independent nonprofit.

Benefits Available to E3 Alliance Staff

  • Health insurance, including life, dental, and long-term disability. Options for vision insurance, short-term disability, flex spending and health savings accounts. Learn more about the ACC healthcare benefits.
  • Teacher Retirement System (TRS). ACC (and therefore E3 Alliance) does not participate in Social Security. Instead, we participate in the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS). Learn more about our TRS benefits.
