Emergent Bilingual Research & Findings
About the Research
E3 Alliance launched the Emergent Bilingual Steering Committee to better understand the barriers emergent bilingual students face and identify research-backed strategies to address them.
Over three years, E3 Alliance worked with Central Texas education and community partners to conduct quantitative and qualitative research, analyze findings, and develop recommendations for action.
Participating districts also used the research to identify areas for improvement and test strategies to better support emergent bilingual students. Together, the data, educator and student perspectives, and district experiences informed the findings and recommendations we presented in the report.
