Emergent Bilingual Research & Findings
About the Research
Over three years, E3 Alliance worked with Central Texas education and community partners to conduct quantitative and qualitative research, analyze findings, and develop recommendations for action.
The research examined student experiences and outcomes from pre-K through postsecondary education, with a particular focus on reclassification, access to advanced coursework, and pathways to postsecondary success.
Participating districts also used the research to identify areas for improvement and test strategies to better support emergent bilingual students. Together, the data, educator and student perspectives, and district experiences informed the findings and recommendations we presented in the report.
