AUSTIN, TX – Thursday, December 5, 2024 — Central Texas community members will don their best boots and celebrate the transformative power of education at the Geeks in Boots Gala, the largest fundraising event dedicated to the advancement of education systems in Central Texas. The unforgettable evening takes place on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the AT&T Hotel & Conference Center at 1900 University Ave, Austin, TX 78705. 

Kerry Hall, banking professional and former Interim CEO of the Austin Chamber of Commerce, and Bobby Jenkins, owner of ABC Home & Commercial Services will co-chair the event. Hall and Jenkins are longtime E3 supporters serving on the Champion Council and Board of Directors, respectively.

The Geeks in Boots planning committee invites the Central Texas community to help honor E3’s esteemed Catalyst for Change awardees (announcements in January), individuals and organizations committed to making a significant impact on student achievement. Beyond the awards, attendees will enjoy an evening filled with delicious cuisine, lively entertainment, and engaging conversations focused on improving student outcomes across every demographic in Central Texas.
