Presented at the National STRIVE Together, Cradle to Career, Network Convening on October 3-5, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Rigorous math matters! Communities across Texas are digging into their data to address equity gaps in middle school and postsecondary success. The Greater Texas Foundation partnered with E3 Alliance in a statewide analysis, finding high school math enrollment patterns are a game-changer for postsecondary completion. In response, GTF supported E3 Alliance and UT-Tyler in convening stakeholders across East Texas where the results are leading to a grassroots approach to addressing math equity issues.
