E3 Alliance Position Description: Impact Network Coordinator
Classification: Professional – Exempt
Direct Supervisor: Senior Director of Community Solutions

E3 Alliance seeks a full time Coordinator to support the E3 Alliance Impact Networks of partner school districts looking to leverage recent state policy changes to positively impact students. This is a new role that will report to the Senior Director of Community Solutions and supports our regional collective impact in facilitating systems change in education. This person should have a strong background in education and have experience working in a school district setting with district staff and leaders. The Coordinator will have responsibility to increase regional capacity to maximize student outcomes through new and innovate funding streams included in recent state legislation, including HB 3 legislation from 2019. The Coordinator will work with regional school district partners to implement research-proven initiatives in Post-Secondary Access and Success funding through College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) outcomes funding. Also, the Coordinator will support efforts to expand effective early learning and early literacy practices across regional school districts. In addition, the Coordinator will help amplify work at the state level in: teacher evaluation, compensation and strategic staffing through the Teacher Incentive Allotment; Additional Days School Year opportunity (“ADSY”) for elementary schools; and other potential local funding and policy/practice changes to take advantage of state education funding policies. The Coordinator will meet regularly with statewide Impact Network staff to facilitate data collection, identify bright spots, and help in the dissemination of statewide tools and resources. The Coordinator will be also be responsible for creation and management of project contractual documents, budgets, logistics, deliverables and communications in working with school district partners to effectively implement state policy.

Position Description: E3 Alliance Research Analyst
Classification: Professional – Exempt
Direct Supervisor: Director of Research

E3 Alliance is seeking an entry level Research Analyst to work on a variety of projects and systems in support of our non-profit mission. Under the supervision and guidance of the E3 Alliance Director of Research, and in collaboration with other members of the E3 research team as well as E3 staff, the Research Analyst will conduct statistical analysis of large-scale education datasets. Duties include providing analytic support to the research team, as well as the Sr. Director of Learning Networks, Sr. Director of Community Solutions, and Chief Transformation Officer. Additional duties include executing Education Research Center (ERC) based analyses required to prepare E3’s Central Texas Education Profile, collaboration in conducting the statistical analyses required by large and small scale research studies, supporting existing systems and developing new programs and applications, and, where appropriate, taking a leadership role in the completion of discrete project components. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, low-bureaucracy, multi-tasking environment, is a self-motivated learner and has a passion for education, programming, data analysis, and/or supporting a mission-driven organization. Our analytic tools include Python (using Pandas), R, SAS, and Stata. Our data visualization platform is built using Python (including Django), HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including D3), PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Apache, running on CentOS Linux.

Position Description: E3 Alliance Research Associate

Direct Supervisor: Associate Director of Research

Position Description: E3 Alliance UT Graduate Research Assistant
Classification: 20 hrs per week
Direct Supervisor: Associate Director of Research
The GRA will work closely with E3’s Research and Analytics team and supports E3’s Community Solutions, Learning Networks, and Transformations Services teams. Primary duties and tasks include: statistical modeling and research support relating to E3’s research portfolio; assist in the development of dissemination materials, including presentations, briefs, reports, and journal articles; create charts and other data visualizations in PowerPoint, Excel, R and/or Python, to portray data results clearly and in a way that is meaningful to various audiences; obtain and analyze data and information from various public sources; conduct literature reviews on diverse topics in education; and provide programming support for the E3 Research Team.

Position Description: E3 Alliance Collective Impact Intern
Classification: Full-Time, Internship – 400 hours over 11 weeks from May to August
Direct Supervisor: To Be Assigned
This internship is part of E3 Alliance’s Collective Impact Practice. The intern and will work closely with our Strategic Alignment, Research, Investor Development and Communications & Community Engagement teams to advance educational outcomes in the Central Texas region. E3 Alliance (“E3”) designed this program to provide the intern broad exposure within the non-profit organization, including Collective Impact, Research and Operations. In assigning projects to the intern, we consider their areas of interest and objectives for their internship. Projects will be substantive and designed so that they can be completed within the internship timeframe. Interns will be expected to actively participate in meetings and given the opportunity to present on a topic at a staff meeting.
