Three Central Texas high school graduates intend to go to college this fall. But will they?
The Months Between is a special look at the phenomenon of “Summer Melt” – the phenomenon of the months in the summer between the time a high school senior actually receives their diploma and actually enrolls in college. There is a gap in that number and Kate McGee, the Education Reporter for KUT 90.5 F.M. followed three students headed to college during the summer in 2015 as they faced obstacles and choices on their path to college in the fall. E3 Alliance served as the data partner for the project.
