One Tenth of Students Account for
One Third of All Absences

Chronically Absent and Not Chronically Absent Students as Percentage of Total Enrollment and Total Absences

Central Texas, 2015-16 School Year

Working to reduce absences for the chronically absent will not only improve outcomes for these students but substantially increase the overall attendance rate and resources available for all students.
