Collective Impact efforts of E3’s Pathways of Promise Initiative were featured at the annual Fellows study meeting hosted by the Greater Texas Foundation on July 17, 2017. Attendees included researchers focused on issues related to STEM and college success from universities across the state of Texas. Key statewide research findings from E3 Alliance showed the importance of math and highlighted 3 distinct types of inequity entrenched by 8th grade in mathematics: 1) Income, 2) Race, and 3) Regional/Rural. The purpose of the presentation was to share best practices in driving research into policy and practice.
