E3 Alliance Position Description: Research Associate
Classification: Full-Time, Professional – Exempt
Direct Supervisor: Associate Director of Research
DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision and guidance of the E3 Alliance Associate Director of Research, and
in collaboration with other members of the E3 research team as well as E3 staff, conduct statistical analysis
of large‐scale education datasets. Duties include providing research and analysis support to E3 Sr. Director
of Learning Networks, Sr. Director of Community Solutions, and Chief Transformation Officer and
executing Education Research Center (ERC) based analyses required to prepare E3’s Central Texas
Education Profile. Additional duties include collaboration in conducting the statistical analyses required
by large and small scale research studies and, where appropriate, taking a leadership role in the
completion of discrete project components. While the work is primarily analytic in nature, the incumbent
will frequently interact with internal and external stakeholders in the definition of research needs and
presentation of results.

E3 Alliance Position Description: Programmer Analyst

DESCRIPTION: E3 Alliance is seeking an entry level Programmer Analyst to work on a variety of projects and systems in support of our non-profit mission. This new role will primarily support our Data Systems Manager and our Education Research Team and be responsible for both supporting existing systems and developing new programs and applications. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, low-bureaucracy, multi-tasking environment, is a self-motivated learner and has a passion for education and/or supporting a mission-driven organization.

Position Description: E3 Development Associate
Classification: Full-time Professional – Exempt
Direct Supervisor: VP of Investor Development
Description: Under the supervision and guidance of the E3 VP of Investor Development and in collaboration with other E3 staff, the Development Associate will serve as an important member of E3 development team by providing support in the areas of grants management, donor research and stewardship, database management, special event execution and planning, and digital and social media fundraising. The Associate will be responsible for supporting the VP of Investor of Development and Executive Director in the areas of donor communications and recognition, prospect research for major donors and grants, scheduling and planning donor and prospect visits, and providing support for special events and annual fundraising campaigns.

Position Description: E3 Alliance UT Graduate Research Assistant
Classification: 20 hrs per week
Direct Supervisor: Associate Director of Research
The GRA will work closely with E3’s Research and Analytics team and supports E3’s Community Solutions, Learning Networks, and Transformations Services teams. Primary duties and tasks include: statistical modeling and research support relating to E3’s research portfolio; assist in the development of dissemination materials, including presentations, briefs, reports, and journal articles; create charts and other data visualizations in PowerPoint, Excel, R and/or Python, to portray data results clearly and in a way that is meaningful to various audiences; obtain and analyze data and information from various public sources; conduct literature reviews on diverse topics in education; and provide programming support for the E3 Research Team.

Position Description: E3 Alliance Collective Impact Intern
Classification: Full-Time, Internship – 400 hours over 11 weeks from May to August
Direct Supervisor: To Be Assigned
This internship is part of E3 Alliance’s Collective Impact Practice. The intern and will work closely with our Strategic Alignment, Research, Investor Development and Communications & Community Engagement teams to advance educational outcomes in the Central Texas region. E3 Alliance (“E3”) designed this program to provide the intern broad exposure within the non-profit organization, including Collective Impact, Research and Operations. In assigning projects to the intern, we consider their areas of interest and objectives for their internship. Projects will be substantive and designed so that they can be completed within the internship timeframe. Interns will be expected to actively participate in meetings and given the opportunity to present on a topic at a staff meeting.
