On October 15, 2015 the 2015 Flu Immunization Campaign kicked-off at Pfluger Elementary School, in Hays CISD. Superintendent Mike McKie of Hays CISD and Superintendent Kevin Brackmeyer of Manor ISD joined Health and Human Services Commissioner Chris Traylor to speak about the importance of the flu vaccine and keeping our families healthy this fall.   Football great and dad of three, Vince Young, came out to support the start of the flu immunization campaign , again, this year!   He in particular wanted to meet the districts health directors and healthcare professionals who are working to make the Flu campaign a success this year.
Vince will also be there at the finish line after the campaign. He has committed to signing a football for the school in each of the 9 districts with the highest percentage of vaccines administered AND he will personally deliver a signed football to the school with the highest percentage of vaccines given among all 136 schools in the 9 participating districts!   Stay tuned for that celebration!
